Served in the White House

In February of 2006 President Bush’s coffee buyers ordered Kona coffee to be served at the National Governors Association White House dinner. Since that time the Obama White House has ordered more Kona RainForest Farms Estate Coffee for special occasions and State functions. See the Hana Hou Magazine  article, written about the farm and our White House connection.

Freelance writer Joel Berliner reported to Inside the Beltway, The Washington Times,  “Kona is the Napa and Sonoma of coffee, and it’s good to know that the White House is now more mindful about serving and identifying this extraordinary American grown product in the same way as they do premium California wines.” *
